Product Information
Surfacelink Brownbuilt Roof Anchor

SafetyLink SurfaceLink has the versatility to be used on a multitude of roof profiles, due to the two plates being able to be adjusted to the right size to fit the roof profile.

  • Side mounted plates are made from 316 Stainless Steel enabling versatility with roof sheet profiles.
  • SafetyLink Eyebolt is forged from 316 Stainless Steel with powerful energy absorbing qualities.

The SafetyLink eyebolt was developed and tested extensively to maximize energy absorption while retaining its strength when arresting a fall. Its tapered design enables it to bend like a fishing pole to reduce the load back on the structure and the person attached to the anchor.

POSITIONING OF SURFACELINK ANCHOR POINT
(refer to appendix diagrams 2 and 3 of the Handbook) The first SurfaceLink must be in a position easily and safely reached by a secured ladder or a manhole access point. Access to underside of roof is not required.

Live Load on Anchors:
The Surface Mounted Anchor is best suited to roof pitches up to 30 degrees. For over 30 degrees Surface Mounted Anchors should be used in conjunction with other access methods to ensure no live loading. Note: These anchors are not abseil anchors and therefore if they are subjected to a live load this may trigger the energy absorbing regions.
